Hello y’all this is my first blog post… how exciting!! I’ve been throwing around the idea of creating my own blog for almost a year now and finally decided that now more than ever would be the perfect time to create one. Bear with me {yes pun intended sic ’em!} as I’m still trying to get the hang of this. Wellll, I thought since this IS my first post I’d make it as cliché as possible by telling y’all a little about myself and my current life.
My name is Cindy I’m five months away from turning twenty, I’m a proud sophomore at Baylor University, I was born and raised in the swanky Dallas, Texas, I’m a daughter, I’m a sister, and last but certainly not least I’m a friend. I love my large & rather crazy family {a photo seemed appropriate here}.
I’m obsessed with my family. I love them all to pieces. My parents are from Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico {claro que soy rayada}. My little brother and I are eleven years apart, gasppp!! My beautiful mother has become like a great friend that occasionally tells me what I have to do. My incredible father’s strength has made me into the independent lady that I am today. I have two uhh-mahh-ziing older siblings that are a constant inspiration to me. Oh and yes I do speak, write, and read both Spanish & English fluently.
{My beautiful best friend Erica, well she’s more like a sister! Y’all will be seeing/hearing about her a lot; she’s become a BIG part of my life.}
A little more about myself… I’m oddly obsessed with sports {mostly football OF COURSE}, I’ve been a bit of a health nut lately, and styling clothes for myself and others has become one of my greatest hobbies! Some of my favorite stores/brands are Nordstrom, Dillard’s, Jcrew, and Jack Rogers. I’m almost always smiling, I laugh way too easily, and I love everything pink! My life icon is the always poise Audrey Hepburn.
